Following the previous successes of the last few East Coast Jeanneau Owner Rallies, Clarke & Carter Interyacht are pleased to announce that this years event will take place at Burnham Yacht Harbour, Burnham on Crouch, Essex.
For those of you who have not been before it is a great opportunity to meet other owners, families and crew with similar boats and to swap ideas and have a good time.
The intention is to welcome participating yachts to Burnham Yacht Harbour from 12.00 on Saturday 10 th , to join up for lunch in the Swallowtail bar in the marina and to register at our office. High tide at Burnham is at 12.06 pm.
There will be a cocktail party at the Crouch Yacht Club sponsored by Clarke & Carter Interyacht Ltd at 18.30 followed by a sit down supper in the club for £20 per head.
On Sunday we intend to do a short Jeanneau Fun Race in the river, with spinnaker and non-spinnaker classes, followed by a short prize-giving and lunch at the marina so that visiting yachts can leave on the high tide, which is at 13.00
All Jeanneau Owners are invited to come along and join in the fun. Entry forms will be posted to all owners who express an interest, alternatively please see our website www.clarkeandcarter.co.uk and click on the Jeanneau Owners’ page where the entry form can be downloaded.
Last year we enjoyed near perfect conditions on the River Orwell after a great evening in a church near Ipswich docks, but the lock was a problem for the fleet in the morning. This year you can get from your marina berth to the start line on the river in a matter of only a few minutes.
